The hammer is already being hammered on the property.
It was bought for $4.4 million and has just a $500,000 mortgage.
The house is on a property that once belonged to former Texas Gov.
The former Texas congressman is now running for president in 2016.
“It’s going to be a big home, a big house with lots of people who live there,” said John Zimbalist, a real estate agent with Zimbaric Properties.
“They’re going to have a lot of visitors and they’re going see it, but they’re not going to want to go inside.”
Zimbarski said he was told the property was for sale for $1.5 million and had a $400,000 cash payment.
The sale of the home was a big step for Zimbart and Zimblis, who had never bought a home in the area.
“This was a dream come true, but it’s also a big dream come alive,” said Zimba, a longtime local businessman who has been involved in local politics for many years.
“We’re trying to make this a success for our city.”
In 2013, Zimbals father and former Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry, a Texas congressman, died of cancer at the age of 78.
Perry had lived in the city of Houston since 1982, when he was mayor of the city.
Zimbelis and his wife moved to Houston in the 1980s.
He was a board member for the Houston City Council in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and he was also the president of the Houston Association of Realtors from 1993 to 1998.
Rick Perry served as governor from 1999 to 2002, and later as U.S. senator from Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Janet, and three daughters, Brittany, Ashley and Jessica.
A funeral service will be held at 8:30 a.m.
Saturday in the Perry Family Funeral Home in Austin.
The family is asking for donations to help cover the funeral expenses.
“Our prayers go out to the family, and to Rick Perry’s friends and family,” Zimbas said.
